'Fusion' is a digital montage/collate assembled in Photoshop - the  blending of  a photo of   leaf strewn ground and a constructed vector form  created in Adobe Illustrator.
It was originally inspired by my recent interest in using the elements of fire, water, earth and air in my work.  This one is obviously about fire and earth.   However,  although it was  intended to be purely abstract illusory work,   the final result  seems to resemble an aorta.  After reading one definition -  'The Aortic Root, the transition point where blood first exits the heart, functions as the water main of the body' I could well  have been using it as the theme for the work.
